As the Community Park North project gains momentum, the Board of Supervisors has reaffirmed its commitment to its progress.
The Board approved a resolution updating the project documentation with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources during the Jan. 30 meeting.
The Community Park North project aims to transform a roughly 10-acre parcel of land near the Rotary Dog Park into a complex featuring multiple amenities, including two multi-purpose fields to be programmed by the Parks Department.
The project received a $2.8 million Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant from DCNR, which required an updated resolution and additional documentation to begin finalizing the grant agreement.
