Dogs will soon have a new wide-open space to roam in the Township.
But for those tired pooches who need a quick break, the new facility in Community Park will also be home to a pavilion area offering shady space to relax.
The Board of Supervisors on January 3 approved a contract with Jeffrey Associates to construct a pavilion at the Rotary Dog Park. The work also includes the installation of a concrete pad for the pavilion, as well as a concrete handicap parking area.
The relocated park is expected to open later this year.
