Charter Homes, the developer of the massive Meeder mixed-use project at the corner of Rochester Road and Rt. 19, is planning to sell off the apartment element of its plans, which it identifies as Phase Four of the multi-phase development. According to the presentation given to Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors on May 30, the prospective buyer is Watermark of Indianapolis, a company that specializes in upscale apartment building. Charter, however, would remain responsible for its implementation. The project’s clubhouse, pool and dog park area are also planned to be integrated into the apartment phase. A nearby series of stand-alone garages for residents was also proposed. Following public comment, the Board agreed to consider final adoption of the modifications at its June 6 meeting.
