Local restaurateur Jimmy Woods was presented with a “Comeback Award” by Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors at its September 27 meeting. The award recognized Woods’ work in creating a successful business staffed entirely with recovering drug addicts. The inspiration to start the business, which includes both a Rowan Road sit-down café and a food truck, came to Woods several years ago while undergoing treatment for his own addiction in Pittsburgh. The restaurant’s signature fish, shrimp and chicken tacos are all priced at $12 or less.
