A 2009 Ford Expedition, formerly known as Police Vehicle 469, will spend the autumn of its years in rural Clarion County. Cranberry Public Safety Director Jeff Schueler reported that he had been approached by Clarion County’s Sheriff with a request to purchase the vehicle, which had already been scheduled to rotate out of the Township’s police fleet. At its July 30 meeting, Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors approved the request to sell the truck-based SUV to Clarion County’s Sheriff for a bargain $5,000.
