Cranberry’s Board of Supervisors will be asked to approve the dedication of 15 pieces of property acquired by the Diocese of Pittsburgh to PennDOT and consolidated into a single deed at its April 1 meeting. The transfer, which involves the Township accepting the properties and then passing them along to the state, will enable the Diocese to complete improvements to Rt. 228 and Franklin Road which were identified in a PennDOT-approved traffic study and required for traffic mitigation to support the parochial high school development.
