- Automated External Defibrillator Locations
When the heart stops, the lack of oxygenated blood can cause death or permanent brain damage in minutes. Automated external defibrillator (AED) use can make the difference between life and death according to the American Heart Association. Early recognition, prompt hands only CPR, and early use of an AED allows for the best chance of survival from a sudden cardiac arrest.
The Municipal Center currently provides an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for public use, conveniently located in the center of the building, and just recently partnered with CTPA to provide AED's in outdoor locations in Cranberry's parks. Graham Park is the site of the first installation of this potentially life-saving device.
