Cranberry Skate Park

To ensure the safest possible recreational environment, several protocols have been outlined for those using Community Park, Graham Park and North Boundary Park. The protocols align with yellow phase of Pennsylvania’s tiered re-opening plan and follow all federal, Commonwealth and CDC mandated guidelines.

Cranberry Township Parks Reopening Plan

skate1.jpgCranberry Township’s AE Ride Skatepark, behind the Municipal Center, was assembled as a community-built project on a single weekend day in June 2005. More than 150 volunteers from American Eagle Outfitters and the community participated in the day-long project which involved assembling and positioning the various skatepark components in time for a formal opening that same day.
The Skatepark is free and open for unsupervised use by all skateboarders, in-line skaters, and BMX bicycle riders during daylight hours throughout the year, weather permitting.

The park is built on a 120 x 80 foot pad of polished concrete. The park include ramps, rails, steps, platforms and benches provided by a grant from the American Eagle Outfitters Foundation and the national organization KaBoom!.
